The nine pups were born on September 6, 2024. There are six males and three females, all brindle.
I plan to keep a female for myself and if any of the others are worthy, I would like a few to go to show homes in the OH/PA/NJ area. The pups cannot be evaluated for show potential until they are close to 8 weeks old on November 1.
Both sire and dam are health-tested champions and both are Clear for DM.
The dam is CH Tipperary Too Ra-Loo Ra-Loo Ral "Ruthie". CHIC #177268
The sire is Intl CH McCormac Setna Sithbacc "Aiden". Aiden lived in Denmark until his passing a couple of years ago. This litter was produced using frozen semen.
I still have a few male pups that are not promised. Ruthie's ultrasound in August showed 6 puppies so to have 9 was a wonderful surprise!

Thank you for visiting the Tipperary Farm website.
Let me introduce myself…
I have owned Glens since 2001 and bred my first Glen litter in 2007. Tipperary Glens now live as far west as California, as far north as Canada, as far east as Maine, as far south as Florida and in many states in between.
I am an AKC Breeder of Merit Bronze. This reflects the number of champions I have raised and my commitment to health testing. I recently finished my tenth champion from the Bred By class which the AKC recognizes with a 10th Bred By Champion medallion.
All of my Glens are fully health tested according to the Glen of Imaal Terrier Club of America (GITCA) Code of Ethics.
You can read the GITCA Code of Ethics here.
Health testing results on all my Glens can be found online at the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) website. I feel very strongly about sharing test results in the public database so that breeders around the world can review them. Here is a link to the OFA search page.
I love to talk about this breed and help families find pups from the best breeders I know. Do not hesitate to send an email or give me a call if you have any questions about Glens or if you would like help finding a puppy or older dog. Keep in mind that due to their rarity, older Glens looking for a new home are very rare.
In addition to breeding, I write the quarterly Glen of Imaal breed column for the AKC Gazette. The Glen of Imaal terrier column runs in February, May, August and November.
I do not ship puppies, but my proximity to the airport makes it convenient to fly in and out again with your pup as a carry on in the cabin with you. My farm is located in western Pennsylvania very near the Pittsburgh International Airport.
