Kerry Bog ponies are crowd pleasers at Irish Festivals and Saint Patrick's Day parades. My KBP mare, Sheridan's Wee Shell of the Marsh, is shown here as we march together in the 2012 St Patrick's Day parade in Pittsburgh, PA. This was her first parade and she took it all in stride. |
Though you can't tell from this photo, Shell was in foal to my young stallion, TAF Rowan, and she delivered a healthy chestnut filly on April 27, 2012. Here is a photo of Tipperary Pippa taken on the day she was born. Pippa will be offered for sale upon weaning. Interested buyers can contact the farm at 724-926-1700. |
Tipperary Farm welcomes its newest Irish breed, the Kerry Bog Pony. "Breeze" (TAF Caragh Breeze) comes to us from Thornapple Farms in Vermilion, Ohio. "Breeze" is by Old Peat out of Moneen April Breeze and was born on May 18, 2007. She is chestnut with two white hind socks and a white blaze. She is pictured here with her dam earlier this summer and has grown quite a bit since then. Check back for more recent photos! For more
information on this rare breed of pony visit the American Kerry Bog
Pony Society website at www.kerrybogpony.org.
